One person, start to finish

There is no dispatcher and no call center. The person who gives you the estimate is the person doing the work, which means nothing gets lost between the quote and the job.

It also means I am honest about capacity. If I cannot start when you need me to, I will say so instead of booking you and going quiet.

Licensed for the contracting work

The home improvement side is licensed through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. The license is public record, and you should look it up before hiring anybody, including me.

Landscaping and lawn maintenance do not require a contractor license in Virginia and are offered separately from the licensed work.

Everything in writing

Virginia requires residential contracting to run on a signed written contract before work starts or money changes hands, and it has to spell out dates, total cost, payment schedule, materials, permits, cancellation rights and change-order rules. That is how jobs here are written up, on every job, not just the big ones.

Working with property managers

A good share of the work is turnovers, punch lists and grounds upkeep for landlords and managers in the county. That work runs on schedules and invoices rather than handshakes, and it is set up that way here.
